A Request to Control the Foreign Monks Training

Your Excellency,

We have met two times in March: at the Global Buddhist Conference on the Post-Tsunami Relief in the BMICH and when I visited you at the Ministry. That time you have told me, if I have any request to put it in writing. Now, Your Excellency, I dare to request your help to control the training of the monks whom the Most Venerable Kotugoda Dhammawasa Mahathera and I as the acariya gave the higher ordination before this vassana. Namely:

Samanera Kalakusala (Mr. Ondrej Skala, Czech passport No. 35524130) after his upasampada went to ask Ven. Satimant Mahathera, the Head of the Sri Dalada Tapowanaya, Kandy, to be his Vinaya-Teacher.

Samanera Sobhanakusala (Mr. Jan Honzik, Czech passport´No. 33209730) after his upasampada went to ask Ven. Mangala Mahathera, the Head of the Madakade Aranya, Ingiriya, to be his Vinaya-Teacher.

Third monk Pavesakusala (Mr. Pavel Kovarik, Czech passport No. 30004709) was asked to leave the Madakade Aranya in March and then to leave Sri Dalada Tapovanaya in June this year because of his misbehavior.

These three newly ordained monks DO NOT FOLLOW VINAYA INSTRUCTION of their teachers. Instead of practicing the Dhamma and Vinaya, they are, with Miss Hana Muchova (Czech passport No. 34454574, Samaneri Vimokkha disrobed on 5th July 2005), distributing papers about the monks and nuns allegedly in Sri Lanka practicing orgies of sex.

I am very sorry, Your Excellency, to trouble you with these issues, but obviously the named Czech monks are damaging the Buddhasasana in public.

Let me express again my gratefulness to the Sinhala Nation for preserving the original Teaching of Buddha and enabling foreigners to learn it.
